Role overview
The Senior Supplier Quality Engineer plays a central role in shaping supplier quality at a pivotal stage in the company’s growth. This position is responsible for developing strong supplier relationships, setting clear quality standards, and building processes that support both ongoing innovation and the company’s long-term goals.
In addition to traditional quality management, this role directly influences operational strategy. The Senior Supplier Quality Engineer works hands-on with suppliers to strengthen and future-proof the supply chain, ensuring readiness for the transition from development to production and operational service.
Reporting structure
This position reports to the VP of Procurement & Supply Chain, with a functional reporting line to the Director of Quality. The role combines day-to-day delivery with the creation of systems and standards that will support Vertical Aerospace through its next phase of growth.
Location
This role is based at the Bristol office.
