Role Overview & Your Contribution
We are seeking a Senior System Designer specializing in Electric Home Systems to serve as our technical authority. This position involves utilizing HVAC design software to complete Manual J/S calculations, assessing electrical needs and upgrades in compliance with NEC standards, specifying water heater and battery enhancements, and evaluating weatherization projects. You will collaborate closely with home comfort advisors, sales personnel, and installation managers to ensure system designs meet customer needs, building regulations, and energy efficiency benchmarks. Additionally, you will contribute to the creation of design documents, plans, specifications, and cost estimates, ensuring that our Field Operations team delivers top-notch solutions. Your role will include establishing quality control measures to guarantee that all designs and heat pump solutions adhere to Zero Homes' high standards.
