Qualifications

Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace, or Mechanical Engineering. Experience: At least 10 years in Development, Verification & Validation of Embedded Software within a DO178B or DO178C environment. Leadership Experience: A minimum of 5 years in a team lead role, demonstrating expertise in team management, performance reporting, personnel coaching, and team development. Technical Skills: Comprehensive knowledge of critical software tools including SCADE, Matlab/Simulink, C, C++, Microsoft Office, DOORS, SVN, and Mantis. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, with a focus on effective interpersonal interactions. Problem-Solving Skills: Proven ability to demonstrate curiosity, autonomy, proactivity, and the development of innovative solutions. Diagnostic Skills: Ability to effectively isolate and resolve complex hardware, system, and software issues.

We are currently seeking a Senior Team Lead to become part of our vibrant and multidisciplinary team responsible for the certification of aircraft Electronic Engine Controllers.

The Senior Team Lead will report to the Business Line Director and oversee one or more technical teams, taking on the following pivotal responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Play a significant role in driving the company's growth by actively participating in technical and commercial proposals, spearheading recruitment efforts for potential employees, and pinpointing essential training opportunities for the team.
  2. Uphold the highest standards of technical quality by conducting thorough reviews and validations of team deliverables.
  3. Create detailed work packages and manage external suppliers when outsourcing is necessary.
  4. Establish and implement comprehensive software development and verification processes to ensure product integrity.
  5. Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality assurance, operational efficiency, and timely project delivery, including enhancing team organization, optimizing tools, and refining testing/review methodologies.
  6. Cultivate a culture of professionalism and commitment within the team.
  7. Act as the primary technical point of contact for clients, ensuring clear and consistent communication.
  8. Provide detailed weekly status reports to promote transparency and accountability.
