About the job

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Technical Office Engineer to oversee cost control, tendering, contract administration, and financial coordination for our development projects. This role is crucial in ensuring both commercial accuracy and compliance with contractual obligations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Preparation and review of Bills of Quantities (BOQs), cost estimates, and tender documents.
Conducting technical and financial evaluations of contractor proposals.
Management of contractor payments, invoices, claims, and variation orders.
Preparation of project cash flow forecasts and cost control reports.
Coordination between consultants, contractors, and internal teams.
Review of shop drawings to ensure compliance with specifications.
Monitoring of project budgets and financial performance forecasts.
Ensuring adherence to contractual terms and cost control procedures.

Requirements

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Certification in contract or cost management is preferred.

Experience

8–12 years of relevant experience in technical office, cost control, or quantity surveying roles.
Experience in commercial, residential, and villa projects is preferred.

Knowledge

Comprehensive understanding of contracts, tendering processes, and cost control systems.
Familiarity with FIDIC and other contractual frameworks.
Strong grasp of budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
