Key ResponsibilitiesProactively identify and address cross-disciplinary challenges. Create integrated schedules with measurable milestones for Mechanical, Propulsion, and Thermal subsystems. Monitor and document project advancements. Act as a bridge between the development engineering team and other project stakeholders such as supply chain, software, and operations. Facilitate the implementation and organization of risk and opportunity management. Devise and execute strategies to ensure project timelines are met. Collaborate closely with the Program Management team to implement PM best practices across Astranis. QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Aerospace Engineering or Mechanical Engineering. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a project management role. A minimum of 3 years in an engineering capacity. Excellent communication skills. Attention to detail and precision. Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment, creatively solving problems and effectively communicating tactical plans.

As a Senior Technical Project Manager at Astranis, you will be pivotal in steering the propulsion, mechanical, and thermal engineering efforts across all our projects. Your role will encompass guiding projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with objectives, adherence to timelines, and budget compliance. This position requires extensive collaboration across various functions and the ability to adapt to challenges throughout the project lifecycle.
