REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSDemonstrated experience in analyzing complex threat actor campaigns, including supply chain and infrastructure threats, with the ability to formulate long-term countermeasures. Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, Rust, Golang, or Swift. Adept at prioritizing and executing tasks independently with minimal supervision. Excellent professional communication skills in both written and verbal forms. Eligibility to obtain and maintain a U. S. Secret security clearance. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSExtensive knowledge of nation-state, sophisticated criminal, or supply chain threats. Experience in developing file-based or network-based detection rules and signatures (e.g., YARA, Snort) for tracking complex threats.

ABOUT THE TEAM

We are looking for a Senior Threat and Attack Research Engineer to become a vital part of our Security organization. The ideal candidate will blend threat intelligence expertise with robust engineering skills to create and execute advanced systems for tracking and analyzing threat actors, ensuring the protection of Anduril's products and infrastructure.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Monitor and assess sophisticated cyber threats aimed at Anduril's products, infrastructure, and personnel.
  • Research and anticipate emerging technical trends within the threat landscape while implementing effective mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with the detection and response team to provide timely, actionable intelligence that supports ongoing investigations.
  • Engage cross-functionally with the offensive security team during product and infrastructure red team assessments.
  • Enhance tools for threat actor tracking and the integration of intelligence data.
  • Encourage proactive collaboration and information sharing with external partners to develop joint capabilities and achieve common goals.
