Qualifications
General Purpose: Utilize your underwriting expertise, communication, and problem-solving skills to deliver an exceptional experience for our customers, ensuring that workers’ compensation insurance policies are underwritten profitably, fairly, and accurately. Essential Duties / Responsibilities:Product Expertise: Apply extensive Workers Compensation knowledge to review applications and policies, ensuring proper classification and pricing of exposures while adhering to relevant state regulations (NCCI or independent bureau states). Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and best practices. Customer & Agent Advocacy: Educate and assist customers and agents through the complexities of workers’ compensation insurance, ensuring accurate policy writing and comprehension. Collaborate with agents to identify growth opportunities. Innovation: Work with cross-functional teams to identify and address customer pain points, driving solutions that reduce costs and enhance customer satisfaction, in line with our philosophy of providing a seamless experience for our agents. Decision Science: Utilize data analytics and pricing tools to ensure accurate pricing of workers’ compensation policies.
