The Team You'll Join
In this role, you will design effective, scalable, and user-focused experiences across our internal platforms and customer-facing web products, concentrating on tools utilized by our operational and business teams.
Your contributions will be vital in enhancing complex workflows, boosting productivity, and improving system usability, enabling teams to work more efficiently through superior design. You will engage closely with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to translate operational requirements into intuitive, impactful solutions.
Strong experience with design systems, attention to detail, and a solid technical foundation will be crucial for ensuring seamless collaboration with development teams.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Partner with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to collect requirements and convert them into user-centric experiences aligned with business objectives.
- Conduct user research in operational settings: Perform usability tests, conduct interviews, and analyze data (e.g., analytics, heatmaps) to grasp user needs, validate decisions, and refine workflows.
- Create comprehensive designs: Generate wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs in Figma, ensuring scalability and consistency throughout.
- Enhance usability and accessibility: Optimize interfaces for clarity, speed, and accessibility (WCAG), particularly in intricate systems.
- Work closely with developers: Collaborate with developers during the design implementation phase, providing detailed design specifications, style guides, assets, and clarifications to guarantee high-quality outcomes. Utilize the Design System framework to document and manage UI components, ensuring consistent design execution across teams.
- Drive data-informed enhancements: Engage in A/B testing and iterate designs based on qualitative and quantitative insights to optimize the user experience.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in UX/UI design, focusing on both internal tools and customer-facing web platforms, including dashboards and complex systems.
