Key Responsibilities
As a member of our Disputes and Valuations team within the Risk Advisory practice, you will leverage your accounting, financial, and data analysis expertise to assist clients in navigating their most critical challenges. You will collaborate closely with AlixPartners’ experts in addressing complex issues related to commercial litigation, business valuations, and investigations.
Your responsibilities will include conducting financial damage analysis, determining lost profits, valuing businesses, securities, intellectual property, and other intangible assets, drafting expert reports, and potentially testifying. You will also review work completed by independent auditors.
- Conduct detailed financial analyses to assess litigation damages or valuations while gaining insights into relevant industries or markets.
- Develop and evaluate projections and forecasts.
- Create financial models that incorporate valuation theories, including discounted cash flow (DCF) models.
- Review audit working papers to ensure compliance with professional standards.
- Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues through written and oral presentations, including drafting expert reports.
- Manage and analyze large datasets.
- Apply statistical analysis techniques as needed.
- Prepare presentation materials for client engagements.
- Perform quality control reviews of deliverables.
- Organize documentation and supporting materials for litigation and valuation reports.
