Qualifications
Qualifications and Experience:Must be eligible for employment in the U. S. without sponsorship. Minimum age requirement of 18 years. A High School Diploma or GED, or a relevant combination of education and work experience is preferred. Valid driver's license is required, subject to successful verification via DMV check.1-3 years of experience in field service, site surveying, or telecommunications infrastructure is preferred. Familiarity with Multi-Dwelling Unit (MDU) environments and unique considerations for business and residential installations. Solid understanding of structured cabling, fiber optic systems, power distribution, and network equipment. Proficient in utilizing digital survey tools, mobile applications, and documentation platforms. Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to effectively interface with internal teams and external property contacts. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and efficiently manage time across multiple projects.

Work Setting
This Service Delivery Technician position is based in the field around Lancaster, CA. The job involves regular travel to various sites, including Race Communications offices and other off-site locations.
Role Overview
The Service Delivery Technician focuses on conducting thorough site surveys at both business and residential Multi-Dwelling Units (MDUs). These surveys help plan and carry out service installations, infrastructure projects, and network upgrades. The technician collects detailed site data for use by engineering, construction, and service delivery teams.
Survey locations include commercial buildings, apartment complexes, and mixed-use properties. Success in this role relies on careful attention to detail, a solid understanding of network infrastructure, and clear communication with property contacts and internal teams.
Compensation
$22–$27 per hour
