The Shipping Associate plays a vital role in ensuring the efficiency and accuracy of our shipping processes. This position involves managing incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, verifying product quality, and ensuring all documentation is completed correctly. Attention to detail and effective communication with the production team are essential to meet customer demands and adhere to production timelines.

What You’ll Do

Shipping Responsibilities:

  • Securely package and wrap products to prevent damage during transit.
  • Verify shipment paperwork accuracy via ERP systems to ensure correct quantities and parts are sent.
  • Generate bills of lading and maintain organized shipping records.
  • Monitor conveyor systems, remove finished goods, and load items into trailers or storage areas.
  • Conduct quality inspections on products and packaging prior to shipment.
  • Stretch wrap and prepare pallets for delivery.
  • Track critical shipping items daily and update the production team on their status.
  • Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks for material movement within the warehouse.
  • Manage recycling efforts, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and maintaining a tidy workspace.

Receiving Responsibilities:

  • Process all inbound shipments, verifying counts and quality against documentation.
  • Deliver materials or parts to production areas as required.
  • Perform visual inspections of received items to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Record and maintain accurate inventory data.

Material Handling and Inventory:

  • Conduct inventory stock checks to maintain accurate records.
