Key Responsibilities:
- Carefully prepare and chop ingredients for a variety of dishes, adhering to the quality standards of our kitchen.
- Assist with the cooking process by setting up cooking stations and organizing supplies efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen environment by washing utensils and equipment, while strictly following food safety protocols.
- Label, store, and handle food items in accordance with health regulations.
- Support chefs during meal service and assist with the plating and presentation of dishes.
- Participate in inventory management, reporting any shortages to kitchen management.
- Collaborate with fellow kitchen staff to ensure seamless and efficient kitchen operations.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Prep Cook or in a similar culinary role is preferred.
- Solid understanding of food safety guidelines and proper kitchen practices.
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
