Your Responsibilities

As a Spray Painter in our Scarborough production team, you will leverage your skills and experience to prepare vehicle body components and refine vehicles according to work and customer specifications. You will interpret paint schemes, select appropriate tools and materials, and apply finishes that adhere to stringent quality and time standards. Collaborating with Team Leaders, Quality Assurance, Sales, and fellow team members, you will help maintain a safe, clean, and efficient painting environment, taking pride in achieving a right-first-time finish.

Qualifications We Seek

We are looking for a qualified Vehicle Paint Refinisher with a robust safety mindset and experience in a paint-oriented manufacturing or assembly setting. You should be adept at working independently as well as collaboratively within a team, capable of following intricate specifications, and dedicated to upholding high-quality standards. A proactive approach, keen attention to detail, and flexibility to work various shift patterns are essential for success in this role.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in heavy vehicle, automotive, or complex manufacturing painting
  • A solid understanding of quality standards and paint defect prevention
  • Confidence in working across multiple paint bays and shifts
