Role overview
The SLED Account Executive in the San Francisco Bay Area leads Rubrik’s expansion within state and local government accounts across Northern California. This role centers on identifying and winning new business, managing a full sales pipeline, and shaping account strategies that fit the unique procurement cycles of the SLED (State, Local, and Education) market. Collaboration with Sales Engineers, Sales Development representatives, Channel Development, and partners is key to exceeding sales targets.
What you will do
- Create and implement territory sales plans aimed at surpassing quotas through prospecting, qualification, and deal closing.
- Maintain a strong pipeline to support multiple strategic transactions throughout the sales process.
- Seek out and secure new business opportunities, focusing on a range of mid-enterprise accounts.
- Present Rubrik’s solutions in complex data center environments.
- Collaborate with partners, distributors, and value-added resellers to drive growth in the region.
- Share market feedback and insights with Rubrik management to shape local strategies.
