Join our dynamic sales team as an SMB Account Manager, reporting directly to the Regional Sales Director. In this pivotal role, you will manage a designated geographical area, focusing on prospecting new clients while nurturing and expanding existing customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accelerate Sales Growth: Utilize a Knowledge-based Selling Approach by understanding customer needs through comprehensive research and analysis. Leverage your extensive product knowledge to create tailored solutions. Engage in ongoing discussions with customers and distributors to uncover new opportunities.
- Employ a Consultative Sales Approach: Quickly transition prospects into problem-solving dialogues, delivering personalized insights and solutions that align with the Sealed Air value proposition. Engage customers in discussions regarding product suite value and solution costs, effectively closing sales.
- Exhibit Market and Solution Expertise: Understand and articulate industry needs and economic drivers. Clearly convey the complete range of Sealed Air Protective Solutions, products, and programs to both end-users and distributors.
- Strategic Sales Planning: Develop a comprehensive sales, profitability, and growth strategy for your assigned territory, identifying pathways to drive profitable growth with current and potential clients.
- Account Maintenance: Foster strong relationships with customers, swiftly addressing issues and inquiries to ensure satisfaction and retention with Sealed Air Product Care solutions.
- Enhance Profitability: Collaborate closely with the Marketing team to regularly assess and enhance account profitability, implementing market-aligned selling strategies and managing profit margins. Partner with marketing to launch new products and solutions.
- Administrative Management: Complete essential administrative tasks, including pricing, CRM reporting, rebate coordination, customer relationship management, and travel budgeting.
