At GGRC, we are passionate about empowering people to lead lives filled with liberty and opportunity. We are currently seeking dedicated Social Workers to join our team in the San Mateo office.

Work Environment:
This role offers a hybrid work schedule, allowing you to engage with clients both in their homes across San Mateo County and from the comfort of your own home.

Your Responsibilities:
As a Social Worker under the guidance of the Supervising Social Worker, you will utilize Person-Centered practices to assess the needs of individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. You will develop, implement, and monitor Individual Program Plans (IPPs) to ensure that each person receives the appropriate support and services.

Your work will involve meeting clients in their residences or communities to design and refine IPPs, manage case resources, and advocate for the rights and services available to clients and their families. You will also initiate and monitor regional center funding, ensuring compliance with all federal and state requirements while preparing necessary documentation.

Additionally, you will identify community service needs and advocate for the development of effective resources to enhance the quality of services for individuals supported by GGRC.

Requirements:
We are looking for candidates who possess:
- Knowledge of counseling principles and techniques
- Understanding of individual and group behavior
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A commitment to advocacy for individuals with developmental disabilities
