Pinewood AI is hiring a Software Delivery Manager to join the Delivery Operations team in Solihull, England. This role manages the full software delivery lifecycle for Pinewood's automotive intelligence platform, from initial transition through release and ongoing improvement. The position works closely with developers, product managers, designers, and stakeholders to keep projects moving smoothly from planning to delivery and continuous enhancement.

Key responsibilities

  • Work with Product Managers to define requirements, shape delivery scope, and ensure project releases deliver value to clients.
  • Translate requirements into actionable delivery plans with clear objectives, milestones, and accountability.
  • Coordinate with technical leads, developers, and product managers to manage daily operations, dependencies, and remove blockers.
  • Assess changes to project scope or timelines, propose solutions, and help manage shifting priorities.
  • Maintain project governance through regular status updates, delivery forecasts, and release planning.
  • Identify and escalate risks early to minimize delivery impacts.
  • Promote quality assurance, backward compatibility, and proactive testing for reliable releases.
  • Plan and coordinate release execution, including communication strategies and pilot rollouts.
  • Prepare release documentation, internal briefings, and training materials for stakeholders.
  • Work with Partner Support to resolve product-related issues and support ongoing improvements.
  • Help refine and document delivery processes to raise standards on future projects.
  • Mentor other Delivery Managers, share best practices, and contribute to a collaborative team culture.
