Role Overview: Software Engineer I
Based in Ebene, this role focuses on building modern payment technologies that help merchants improve acceptance rates, reduce processing costs, fight fraud, and deliver strong customer experiences. The team values curiosity, innovation, and a collaborative approach to solving technical challenges.
What You Will Do
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain software solutions for digital payments
- Contribute to projects that are central to Checkout.com's operations
- Work with C# . Net Core on AWS, using event-driven microservices
- Collaborate with fellow engineers and transition between teams as business needs evolve
- Apply technical skills to set project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables
- Adapt to new challenges across the technology stack
Who We're Looking For
- Engineers with experience in C# . Net Core or similar technologies (Java backgrounds also welcome)
