Position Overview
As a Software Engineer at Palantir, you will play a pivotal role in driving significant transformations through data, artificial intelligence, and state-of-the-art infrastructure that underpins essential operations. This position offers a unique opportunity to accelerate your career as you contribute high-quality code to:
• Developing Mission Manager, our innovative internal-infrastructure service, utilized by advanced civil and defense agencies globally in sensitive environments
• Enhancing core capabilities leveraged by advanced civil and defense agencies worldwide
• Establishing foundational infrastructure for our other platforms, Foundry and Gotham, which facilitate workflows for researchers, aerospace engineers, intelligence analysts, and economic forecasters
You'll be part of our Production Infrastructure team, consisting of small, dynamic groups of engineers focusing on:
• Environment Platform: A Kubernetes-based PaaS supporting numerous production clusters
• Apollo: Secure, fleet-wide deployment and management for intricate microservice architectures
• Signals: A comprehensive suite of observability and alerting tools
Key Responsibilities
As a Software Engineer, you will oversee every aspect of the product lifecycle, from ideation and prototype design to feature execution and release. You will collaborate closely with both technical and non-technical team members to identify real customer challenges and devise effective solutions. This hands-on experience may include participating in military exercises or partnering with vendors utilizing Palantir’s Apollo and Rubix to deliver our software directly to warfighters and government employees.
