We are seeking a dedicated Software Engineer specializing in Verification and Validation (V&V) for Perception to enhance our Autonomy V&V team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the performance, robustness, and reliability of our robotic perception stack under real-world conditions. You will be tasked with independently verifying and validating the perception software developed by our Perception team, offering objective assessments on system readiness, performance, and overall quality.
Collaboration will be key in this role as you work closely with teams from Perception, Autonomy, Systems, Hardware, and Field Testing to define validation strategies, execute comprehensive test campaigns, analyze failures, and effectively communicate results. This position is ideal for individuals who excel at bridging development and quality assurance, applying rigorous standards and sound engineering judgment to evaluate perception capabilities utilizing LiDAR, cameras, radars, GPS, and IMUs.
