About the job

Join Our Innovative Team
At Q-CTRL, our Sensing Engineering team is dedicated to converting cutting-edge quantum research into practical technologies that solve real-world challenges. Our expertise lies in designing, constructing, and field-validating a variety of quantum sensors that power our flagship products, including Ironestone Opal, our advanced solution for navigation in GPS-denied environments.

You don’t need to have a background in quantum mechanics to thrive with us. We prioritize robust engineering principles, a proactive product-oriented mindset, and an unwavering determination to tackle the most complex engineering challenges in the realm of quantum sensing.

About the Position
We are on the lookout for a skilled Software Integration Engineer who will be responsible for the deployment, configuration, and operational readiness of Q-CTRL's navigation and quantum sensing software on Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) platforms. This hands-on role focuses on ensuring that our rapidly evolving software is seamlessly integrated, accurately configured, thoroughly tested, and effectively operated in both lab and field settings.

You will collaborate closely with systems and hardware engineers, as well as our software teams, to establish and verify complete sensor and navigation stacks, ensuring proper functionality before flight and managing data transfer for subsequent analysis. As our quantum sensing technology evolves, you will play a crucial role in developing robust deployment, testing, and release practices for hardware-in-the-loop and fielded systems.

Become a part of our expanding global engineering team, collaborating with a dedicated US-based group that supports defense and aerospace initiatives, while working at the intersection of software, hardware, and field operations.
