The ideal candidate will:Uphold a safe work environment by strictly following company and client safety protocols and regulations. Participate in and successfully complete all required training in safety, environmental practices, and other relevant areas. Possess a solid understanding of electrical safety, local and national electrical codes, and arc flash standards. Demonstrate proficiency in reading electrical schematics and applying electrical principles. Exhibit integrity and adherence to Arevon's safety policies and procedures. Perform a variety of corrective, preventive, and emergency maintenance tasks for solar PV systems. Conduct onsite installations, repairs, and troubleshooting as needed.

The Position

As a Solar Field Technician, you will report directly to the Site Manager at our Rosamond, CA project. Your primary responsibilities will involve the maintenance and operational oversight of a utility-scale photovoltaic (PV) power plant. This role includes monitoring the PV plant's performance using SCADA systems, as well as commissioning, testing, inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, and modifying both AC and DC solar PV systems, including inverters, PV module arrays, transformers, switchgear, trackers, and metering systems. You will also supervise contractors to ensure that maintenance activities are performed safely, efficiently, and to high-quality standards.
