The Solar Performance Engineer (O&M) is essential in enhancing the value of Pivot Energy's distributed generation assets. This role is designed for collaboration, engaging with both internal teams and external partners to solidify Pivot Energy's position as a premier ESG-focused Independent Power Producer (IPP). As our asset portfolio expands, manual oversight becomes insufficient. Your expertise in creating automated 'sanity checks' on our data will empower asset managers and service teams to focus on the most impactful tasks, safeguarding the Internal Rate of Return (IRR) of our renewable assets.
In this capacity, the Performance Engineer will ensure that both current and future asset performance aligns with project proformas. We are looking for a data-driven engineer who can effectively translate raw SCADA data into actionable field maintenance directives. Your role will not just involve reporting underperformance but also diagnosing issues and collaborating with asset managers to implement performance improvement strategies. Utilizing your background in electrical engineering and data science, you will identify systemic challenges, optimize energy yield, and provide insightful recommendations for asset modeling, DAS system interfaces, and field service operations.
