Role overview
The Solutions Engineer (Pre-Sales) role connects advanced privacy technology with enterprise sales efforts. This is an individual contributor position where technical expertise meets business impact. Solutions Engineers at Lavendo guide prospects through the technical side of the pre-sales process, shaping how the platform is understood by both technical teams and executive stakeholders. The team is small and focused, giving each member a direct hand in customer outcomes and deal success.
What you will do
- Lead pre-sales activities from discovery and solution design to custom demonstrations and proof-of-concept management.
- Present product demos tailored for both technical audiences (architects, engineers) and executive leaders (CIOs, CISOs).
- Set up and troubleshoot demo environments using REST APIs, SQL, JavaScript, Python, and cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
- Manage proof-of-concept projects from initial scoping through technical validation and final approval.
- Collaborate with sales on RFIs and RFPs, produce architecture diagrams, and create technical documentation such as statements of work and flow charts.
- Act as a technical point of contact between prospects and Lavendo’s product and engineering teams, gathering and sharing market feedback.
- Support integration discussions across cloud and enterprise environments, including IAM, SSO, encryption, NoSQL, and big data technologies.
