A Bachelor's degree or higher in sourcing, procurement, supply chain management, or a related field.5+ years of demonstrated experience in commercial sourcing, vendor management, or a related field is preferred; however, candidates with 3+ years of strong, relevant experience and proven potential will also be considered. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, coupled with a strong sense of ownership and the capability to drive initiatives through to completion. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams. Bilingual in English and Korean is required.

About the job

As a Sourcing Commercial Manager at Solidigm, you will play a pivotal role in cultivating and managing both internal and external relationships to deliver sustainable solutions regarding cost, quality, availability, and technology while strictly following procurement policies. You will collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders to spearhead the development of multi-year commodity strategies informed by business intelligence, comprehensive category analysis, and insights into the supply ecosystem. This role requires you to acquire and maintain a robust understanding of industry trends and technical knowledge of commodities. You will lead the sourcing and selection of suppliers, as well as oversee their performance management. Your responsibilities will also include negotiating purchasing contracts, statements of work, and pricing for goods and services. Furthermore, you will identify and drive cost-saving opportunities in partnership with suppliers and stakeholders to achieve the organization's objectives, and may even innovate new supply chain models for new or existing products and services.
