Qualifications
Key Responsibilities:Oversee all sections of the kitchen. Assist the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations. Take charge of the kitchen in the Head Chef’s absence. Maintain hygiene and food safety standards. Ensure consistency in food quality through hands-on involvement. Assist with daily preparation and service. Support the training and development of junior kitchen staff. Collaborate closely with the Head Chef for career growth. Candidate Requirements:Previous experience as a Sous Chef is preferred; strong junior sous chefs will also be considered. A background in fresh food preparation is essential. Must be driven to excel in the culinary field. Professional and approachable demeanor at all times. Excellent time management and interpersonal skills. Experience with Rosette-level cuisine is a plus but not mandatory. Ideally have experience in a hotel environment. Financially savvy and able to operate within budget parameters.
