About the job
Rocket Lab Ltd. builds rockets and satellites to support missions in scientific research, Earth observation, climate monitoring, national security, and technology demonstrations. The company’s Electron rocket is now the second most frequently launched U. S. rocket each year and has delivered over 230 satellites to orbit. Rocket Lab is also developing Neutron, a medium-lift, reusable rocket designed for deploying larger satellite constellations. The Space Systems division manufactures satellites, payloads, and components for a wide range of missions, including NASA’s Moon and Mars projects and the James Webb Space Telescope.
The Space Systems team oversees every stage of satellite and component production. This includes building full spacecraft for lunar and Martian missions, as well as key parts such as solar panels, flight software, reaction wheels, star trackers, separation systems, and radios. Teams of engineers, technicians, and designers deliver these solutions for commercial, government, and defense customers, as well as for external satellite missions.
