Qualifications
Responsibilities
Analyze, enhance, prepare, and load spatial data into normalized databases regularly.
Develop and maintain Python and SQL scripts for data processing and loading tasks.
Assess new data sources for quality and attribution to fulfill product requirements.
Review data specifications and modifications, adjusting scripts and processes as necessary.
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of experience in developing Python scripts or tools.
Proficient in writing scripts for spatial operations, advanced queries, and SQL joins.
Intermediate to advanced experience with large, normalized databases.
Experience in transforming data from flat files to normalized databases.
Familiarity with ETL workflows.
Ability to interpret data product specifications and translate them into database models and tables.
Strong organizational skills to manage priorities and tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Meticulous attention to detail and a proactive approach to resolving issues.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, GIS, or a related field.
