Job Summary:
The Special Education Academic Coach I is instrumental in providing individualized attention and support to students, maintaining a low student-teacher ratio that fosters academic success. Your main responsibilities will include assisting with instructional activities, supervising students with learning differences, and facilitating both small group and one-on-one tutoring sessions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the instruction and supervision of students with learning differences.
- Facilitate tutorial activities for individual or small groups of students.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback for evaluations and parent conferences.
- Build rapport and meaningful relationships with referred students to enhance their behavioral, academic, and social performance.
- Perform clerical duties such as documentation, record-keeping, and potential note-taking for students.
