Join our team as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant focused on providing care to adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) in North Austin.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver personalized therapy sessions in clients’ homes, tailored to meet individual needs.
Document therapy visits meticulously and maintain communication with families and case managers regarding client progress.
Effectively utilize and adapt provided materials to enhance therapy outcomes.
We are seeking dedicated and passionate SLP-Assistants committed to supporting adults with IDD in the Austin area. As the leading provider of adult IDD therapy in Texas, Soundly Speaking collaborates closely with day habilitation staff and families to uplift our clients aged 21 and over.
Work Environment:
Provide both in-person and teletherapy services.
Expectations:
Treat a variety of speech and language disorders.
Implement comprehensive treatment plans to achieve both short- and long-term goals.
Maintain adaptability and work closely with supervisors and case managers.
Adhere to a 24-hour timeline for submitting paperwork.
Ensure confidentiality of patient records in compliance with HIPAA and relevant regulations.
Engage with families and case managers to discuss therapy progression.
