Role overview
Soundly Speaking Therapy Services PLLC seeks Speech Language Pathologist Assistants (SLP-As) to provide teletherapy for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) across Texas. This fully remote position is open to Texas residents. The team focuses on delivering compassionate and effective speech therapy to adults in the IDD community.
Main responsibilities
- Document each therapy session and regularly update families and case managers.
- Adapt provided therapy materials to address individual client needs.
- Collaborate with clients, families, and case managers to design and deliver personalized interventions.
- Treat a variety of speech and language disorders, following established treatment plans to support clients in reaching both short-term and long-term goals.
- Submit required paperwork within 24 hours of each session and uphold strict confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and other regulations.
- Pursue ongoing skill and knowledge development to improve therapy outcomes.
