Join our team as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant providing Teletherapy for Adult IDD clients in Texas!
We are seeking dedicated and passionate SLP-Assistants who are committed to making a positive impact in the lives of adult individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. At Soundly Speaking, the leading adult IDD therapy provider in Texas, we work collaboratively with day habilitation staff and families to deliver personalized therapy to our clients aged 21 and above.
A typical day includes:
Documenting therapy sessions and communicating with families and case managers to provide updates.
Using and enhancing the materials provided for effective therapy delivery.
Collaborating with clients, families, and case managers to ensure high-quality, tailored therapy services.
Providing treatment for a variety of speech and language disorders, while adhering to comprehensive treatment plans to achieve both short and long-term goals.
Maintaining confidentiality of patient records in accordance with HIPAA and relevant regulations.
Communicating progress and therapy outcomes with families and case managers.
