Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Network and Infrastructure Engineer to join our Cloud Ops - Network Engineering team in a fully remote capacity from the Netherlands, reporting directly to the Manager of Network Engineering.
This role encompasses a blend of infrastructure management, project oversight, and network engineering responsibilities. You will take the lead in designing, implementing, and operating complex network architectures, managing large-scale data center construction and expansions from inception to completion with a pronounced sense of urgency.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, document, and manage data center cabinet layouts and power density for optimal efficiency and reliability.
- Oversee server capacity deployments, ensuring infrastructure integration with automation to support global scalability and resource optimization.
- Collaborate with project management and engineering teams to ensure alignment on service requirements and hardware integration.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to guarantee the smooth synchronization of hardware, software, and network resources.
- Provide expert technical guidance and troubleshooting support for intricate data center issues.
