Qualifications
Requirements:Proven experience in observability instrumentation using tools like Dynatrace, Grafana, Zabbix, or similar. Expertise in modeling metrics, logs, and traces focused on SLOs. Experience designing data ingestion and transformation pipelines (Kafka, Fluent Bit, etc.). Strong scripting and automation skills in Python, Bash, Terraform, Ansible. Solid understanding of Kubernetes/EKS, cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP), and databases. Knowledge of infrastructure and networking. Advanced troubleshooting experience and root cause analysis (RCA) using AIOps and distributed tracing practices. Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and tools like Jira/Confluence.

This role will be crucial in integrating logs, metrics, and traces, as well as automating signals for incident detection and remediation. You will collaborate closely with development, SRE, and DevSecOps teams to ensure critical service coverage and enable data-driven decision-making.
This is an on-site position based in Quito, Ecuador.
