Key Responsibilities:Support the month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entry preparation and ledger account reconciliations. Reconcile and process inventory invoices and wire payments efficiently. Oversee inventory reconciliations and cost accounting by season to ensure accurate tracking and forecasting. Manage monthly sales tax reconciliations and assist in preparing sales tax filings. Ensure compliance with lease accounting under ASC 842 and prepare necessary adjusting journal entries. Track and reconcile fixed assets and manage the depreciation schedule. Monitor intangible assets such as trademark costs and conduct periodic reviews.

YOUR ROLE

The Staff Accountant is integral to our financial operations, supporting general accounting functions such as journal entry preparation, general ledger reconciliation, and month-end closing activities. This role requires compliance with sales tax regulations, managing business licenses, and overseeing inventory payment processes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of U. S. GAAP, demonstrate excellent analytical skills, and effectively communicate financial information across various levels of the organization.
