This role will involve addressing intricate challenges such as network effects to enhance pricing strategies, optimize user matching, and manage commissions effectively. You will take complete charge of marketplace experimentation, ensuring robust test designs and spearheading research and development to create innovative methodologies for aligning business objectives and evaluating long-term outcomes.

In this role, you will redefine and elevate our methodologies for measuring the impact of marketplace teams. Given the unique challenges of marketplace experimentation, characterized by customer interactions that create network effects, traditional A/B testing methods often fall short. While we currently utilize switchback testing, it has limitations like reduced statistical power and spillover effects, focusing primarily on short-term outcomes. Your contributions will significantly influence pivotal business decisions, including adjusting ride prices to balance supply and demand, effectively pairing riders with drivers, and establishing competitive delivery commissions.
