The Staff Product Manager, Automation will guide the development of Ascertain’s automation platform. This position sits at the intersection of LLM-powered agents, workflow automation, and healthcare operations. The role involves close work with engineering, operations, and deployment teams to identify automation opportunities, define performance metrics, and ensure the platform scales to meet the complex needs of healthcare organizations.
What you will do
- Own the strategic roadmap for automation, from defining problems and sizing opportunities to designing agents, deploying solutions, and measuring outcomes in production.
- Work with operations and engineering teams to turn complex healthcare workflows into actionable agent specifications. This includes engaging with operational staff, analyzing payer systems, reviewing denial letters, and translating findings into clear requirements.
- Set up frameworks for evaluating agent performance, including metrics, safeguards, and escalation paths for human review.
- Prioritize among customer requests, platform investments, and new automation ideas, deciding which should become standardized products and which remain custom solutions.
- Partner with go-to-market teams on product positioning, pricing, and customer growth, making sure automation ROI is clear and supported by data.
