QualificationsBachelor of Science in an engineering discipline or equivalent; at least five years of experience in a reliability engineering role. In-depth technical knowledge related to PCBA reliability, energy storage systems, drive units, and chassis components. Proficiency in programming, ideally with Python. Familiarity with statistical software for reliability analysis, such as JMP, ReliaSoft suite, or MATLAB. Strong analytical skills and a detail-oriented mindset.

We are currently seeking a skilled Reliability Engineer who will be instrumental in enhancing the reliability of our electric mobility vehicles throughout the entire development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set reliability goals and metrics for new product development, focusing on components such as actuators, batteries, drive units, PCBAs, chassis, and various low-voltage electronic systems.

  • Create new reliability testing procedures and specifications, including highly accelerated life testing, environmental testing, and other methodologies to validate product reliability.

  • Utilize various acceleration models to develop reliability tests that accurately predict product lifespan under accelerated stress conditions.

  • Draft detailed test plans and analyze test results, providing updates on testing initiatives.

  • Advise engineering teams on failure modes, countermeasures for reliability issues, and design guidelines, including risk analyses to support design decisions.

  • Monitor field performance and identify trends in product failures.

  • Lead and facilitate Failure Mode and Effects Analyses (FMEAs) with cross-functional teams and develop design verification plans based on these findings.
