AQEMIA develops new medicines for unmet medical needs, focusing on drug discovery through its proprietary QEMI platform. This platform blends physics-based modeling, statistical mechanics, and generative AI to create novel drug candidates from scratch. The team works on building entirely new molecular entities, advancing them through a pipeline of in-house projects and collaborations with leading pharmaceutical partners. Current preclinical programs are in in vivo optimization, targeting diseases without effective treatments.

Role overview

The Staff Software Engineer joins the Compute team in Paris. The focus is on scaling and improving the systems that drive AQEMIA’s scientific platform. As research projects become more complex, this role ensures that compute infrastructure, workflows, and developer tools continue to support scientific progress effectively. The work directly shapes how advanced science moves from concept to production.

  • Take responsibility for scaling and maintaining the compute systems behind AQEMIA’s scientific platform
  • Develop and refine infrastructure, workflows, and tools to meet expanding research demands
  • Collaborate with scientists and engineers to industrialize workflows and enhance reliability
  • Enable researchers to run complex models and workflows efficiently
