We are currently looking for a talented Staff Platform Engineer to become a key member of our dynamic team!
The Platform team is responsible for building the foundational framework that every engineer at Machinify relies on. Our scope is extensive: from developer tooling and shared standards to observability and resilience engineering, as well as core product server systems and an evolving Rust framework that enables rapid development of robust services. We also drive company-wide AI tool adoption. This is an individual contributor role at the staff level, allowing you to have significant influence over our technical direction without the need to manage others.
We acknowledge the challenges ahead; we have inherited complex and critical Scala systems that require scaling and a rethinking of the data layer. Your work may involve untangling implementation issues to reveal genuine architectural challenges.
