About Gigs
At Gigs, we are revolutionizing the mobile services landscape by creating a platform that enables tech companies to seamlessly embed global connectivity within their products.
Similar to how Stripe simplifies payment integration, Gigs empowers platforms to incorporate connectivity effortlessly, bridging the traditional telecom world with modern technology. We cater to a variety of sectors, from fintechs launching mobile services to HR platforms providing work phone plans, by automating provisioning and alleviating telecom complexities.
With a dedicated team of approximately 100 professionals across the US and Europe, we are supported by nearly $100 million in funding from esteemed investors such as Ribbit Capital, Google, and Y Combinator. As one of the fastest-growing tech firms, we unite early-stage engineers, product innovators, and business strategists from renowned companies like Stripe, Airbnb, and Shopify. We are committed to addressing profound technical and regulatory challenges to ensure truly seamless connectivity.
If you are fueled by curiosity, creativity, and the desire to shape the future of telecom, we would be excited to connect with you.
Our Challenges
Our focus is on robust software engineering rather than hype. Carrier APIs vary significantly across different countries, providers, and regulatory environments. Real-time provisioning, porting, and eSIM lifecycle management come with strict SLA requirements. Our systems must be observable, operable, and resilient. In the event of a carrier integration failure at 3 AM in a distant market, we need to be alerted before our customers are.
We operate in an environment where decades-old carrier protocols intersect with eSIMs, IoT, satellite connectivity, and the evolution towards 6G. We strive to make the traditional telecom landscape programmable for the future. As a platform company, we are focused on solving real, enduring issues that will not fade away with the next hype cycle.
Our engineering team is set to double by 2026. As we embark on this next phase, we are establishing a senior individual contributor track and are looking to hire multiple staff and principal engineers. The challenges we face today are becoming more complex, with new markets, connectivity paradigms, and an architecture designed to support us for years to come, not just quarters.
