Role overview
The Station Manager / Property Manager for Belgium and the Netherlands is part of the Operations team, focusing on the daily experience at Fastned’s charging stations. This position is responsible for safe, clean, and compliant operations across more than 230 stations in the Netherlands and Belgium. The role is based in Belgium, with offices in Ghent and Brussels, and includes regular travel to the Amsterdam office. The Station Manager reports to the local Senior Operations Manager and provides support on a range of operational topics.
Main responsibilities
- Contract compliance: Monitor adherence to contracts, local regulations, and Fastned’s internal guidelines. Coordinate with internal teams during major tender processes to ensure new stations meet all requirements from the outset.
- Operational performance and customer experience: Inspect station equipment, cleanliness, and appearance on a regular basis. Address any issues quickly, prepare stations for seasonal changes, track waiting times, and suggest upgrades or expansions based on performance data. Take steps to improve the customer experience whenever possible.
- Performance reporting and data management: Maintain detailed records of outsourced activities, reported issues, and their resolution. Ensure documentation is accurate and up to date.
