About the job

ABOUT US

Join Mytos and be part of a revolutionary change in the healthcare industry. Our mission is to expedite the delivery of groundbreaking treatments to patients in need.

We have pioneered fully-automated cell manufacturing facilities utilizing bespoke robotics to make therapies accessible to millions. Our automated processes have already facilitated cures for conditions such as Parkinson’s and vision impairment through stem-cell derived technologies. Previously, regenerative medicines were crafted manually, rendering them prohibitively expensive and difficult to scale. Our automated CDMO approach allows for global distribution of these therapies at a fraction of the cost.

We have initiated collaborations across diverse therapeutic areas, including Parkinson’s, hearing loss, and bone repair, securing $24 million to accelerate our market entry and development. Within the next 12-18 months, neurons produced on our machines will be implanted into the brains of Parkinson’s patients.

Our team comprises world-class professionals, including former Dyson engineers and Nature-published scientists collaborating closely. Discover more about your potential Mytos colleagues here: Team.

We are proud to be backed by Y Combinator, the leading startup accelerator known for nurturing successful enterprises such as AirBnb, Dropbox, and Ginkgo Bioworks.

THE ROLE

Mytos is seeking an innovative Stem Cell Scientist to join our biology team and advance the automation of cell therapy production. This unique role offers the chance to engage in projects that blend engineering with biological science.

You will have the autonomy to manage your own projects and tackle challenges as they arise, with support readily available from your team members.

This position will require collaboration across various disciplines, including biology, hardware, and software, providing you with extensive learning opportunities in these areas.

About Mytos

Mytos is at the forefront of transforming cell therapy manufacturing through automation. Our vision is to make life-saving treatments accessible and affordable for all patients. By leveraging cutting-edge technology and a dedicated team, we are set to redefine the standards of regenerative medicine.
