We are seeking STEM specialists who are deeply knowledgeable in mathematics, physics, chemistry, engineering, data science, computer science, and scientific computing. You will engage with advanced language models on complex topics such as thermodynamics, mechanics, calculus, statistics, materials science, electronics, algorithm design, and quantitative modeling. Your role will involve documenting failure modes to strengthen model reasoning.
On a typical day, you will interact with the model, tackling real-world STEM problem-solving scenarios and theoretical technical questions, verifying factual accuracy and logical consistency, capturing reproducible error traces, and proposing enhancements to our prompt engineering and evaluation metrics.
A bachelor’s or master’s degree in a STEM field is preferred, along with indicators of suitability such as published research, engineering design experience, data analysis projects, or coding portfolios. Effective communication, with an emphasis on clarity and metacognition, “showing your work”, is crucial.

We offer a pay range of $8 to $65 per hour, with the specific rate determined based on your experience, expertise, and geographic location. Final offer amounts may differ from the stated pay range. As a contractor, you will need to provide a secure computer and high-speed internet; benefits such as health insurance and PTO are not applicable.
