Qualifications:High School Diploma or equivalent. Proven leadership experience in a retail or sales environment. Demonstrated ability to drive financial performance while managing costs effectively. Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate and influence team members. Proficient problem-solving skills with experience in inventory management, merchandising, and customer service. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and guests. Completion of all required Monro training within specified guidelines. Valid driver's license and a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).

About the Role:

The Store Manager is a key leadership position that drives daily operations and performance within the store. This role is responsible for guiding and mentoring a diverse team, including General Service Technicians, Technicians, Guest Care Specialists, and Assistant Store Managers. Reporting directly to the District Manager, the Store Manager plays a crucial role in shaping a positive work environment that aligns with Monro's vision of being the foremost tire and automotive service center in America, known for delivering exceptional quality and service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop sales and technical teams to ensure a consistent 5-star guest experience.
  • Achieve sales targets through strategic planning and a comprehensive understanding of services, products, and the automotive landscape.
  • Promote tire and service products to enhance guest satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Foster a productive sales environment by training staff on shop operations and guest services.
  • Provide technical guidance to team members and assist with service tasks as needed.
  • Manage staffing effectively, including recruitment, training, scheduling, evaluations, and performance management.
  • Oversee expense control, focusing on payroll, utilities, maintenance, and other controllable costs.
  • Handle inventory management, including stocking and organizing tires and parts.
  • Conduct audits of courtesy inspections performed by staff.
  • Ensure the store meets Monro’s cleanliness and operational standards.
  • Coordinate guest appointments and delegate tasks based on team members’ skills for efficient service delivery.
  • Meet Monro’s sales objectives by effectively promoting tire and service offerings.
  • Address guest inquiries and concerns regarding sales, services, and adjustments.
  • Build strong relationships with guests to foster customer loyalty and retention.
  • Assist team members in communicating repair needs to guests.
