About the Role:

We are seeking a forward-thinking Industry Marketing Manager to propel our commercial sector forward. This pivotal role involves collaboration with stakeholders across our global commercial business to foster demand for our innovative products and solutions within industry-specific audiences globally.

As part of our Product, Industry, Partner, and Customer Marketing team, you will craft compelling narratives tailored for sectors such as agriculture, energy, insurance, and more. Your daily tasks will involve understanding customer pain points, formulating effective engagement strategies, and empowering sales and marketing teams with the right messaging, content, and competitive insights.

This role presents an exciting opportunity to market groundbreaking data products and AI-driven solutions, enabled by our unique near-daily Earth observations. You will closely collaborate with sales to define Planet’s distinctive position across various markets while having the freedom to set priorities and shape the messaging. As a vital resource for cross-functional teams, your guidance will ensure that we communicate impactful stories across a variety of formats and channels, reaching internal stakeholders at all levels, including executive audiences globally.

The ideal candidate possesses the agility to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and translate them into clear, effective narratives that resonate with diverse audiences.
