The Role
We are on the lookout for our second operations hire: a versatile generalist ready to take full ownership of operational areas as we scale. This role is not about managing tasks or projects, but about enhancing the systems, processes, and outcomes that propel our company forward.
Your responsibilities will evolve according to the company's needs and your unique strengths, with initial focus areas including finance operations, sales operations, SOC 2 compliance, and recruiting operations. As we grow, so will the scope of your role.
A key aspect of this position is designing operational infrastructure that is inherently AI-native. Our small team aims to remain lean, meaning you’ll be integrating processes, systems, and workflows in a way that prioritizes AI, while ensuring stability, security, and reliability. We aspire to embed AI into our core operations rather than treating it as an afterthought.
What You'll Do
You will manage functional areas end-to-end, not by executing every task personally, but by establishing the systems and processes that enable each area to function smoothly. Your responsibilities may include:
Finance Operations: Establish operational frameworks for accounts payable, expense management, tax compliance, and vendor procurement to ensure smooth operations.
Sales Operations: Develop deal support and contract workflows that empower the commercial team to operate swiftly.
Compliance: Implement a compliance program that scales with the company, avoiding bottlenecks.
Legal Operations: Create a legal coordination system (templates, workflows, triage) that streamlines the contract review process.
Recruiting Operations: Design systems for agency management, pipeline operations, and candidate processing.
Systems & Tooling: Integrate all aforementioned areas with AI-first infrastructure that is secure, reliable, and supportive of a fast-moving team.
