Pinson TM Limited works with leading traffic management companies across the UK. With growing demand, the team in Wokingham is looking for both Trainee and Qualified Streetworks Operatives to join ongoing projects.
Role overview
This position involves hands-on support for traffic management and site safety. Operatives work with direct and subcontracted teams to deliver projects on time, contributing to safe and efficient roadworks.
Main responsibilities
- Set up and maintain temporary traffic lights as required for worksites.
- Direct and manage traffic at temporary signals, ensuring compliance from the public.
- Relay important updates to site or operations managers.
- Read and interpret CAD traffic management drawings to guide site setup.
- Maintain and dismantle traffic management systems within specified timeframes.
- Support the implementation of traffic diversion plans.
- Assist the team in meeting safety standards for efficiency and quality.
- Follow Health & Safety regulations and all RAMS (Risk Assessment and Method Statements) guidelines.
- Help with loading and unloading materials as needed.
- Report equipment or vehicle issues promptly.
- Demonstrate reliability, a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic throughout each project.
