Key Responsibilities
- Create and optimize structural designs and calculations for buildings and other infrastructure projects, focusing on materials, construction methods, and cost efficiency.
- Perform site inspections to oversee construction progress and ensure adherence to design specifications.
- Work in tandem with developers, contractors, architects, MEP engineers, and other stakeholders to seamlessly integrate structural designs into comprehensive project plans.
- Develop detailed structural drawings and specifications.
- Supervise on-site structural execution and verify the quality of materials such as concrete, steel, and foundations.
- Analyze project-related data to guarantee safety and structural integrity.
- Identify potential structural risks (e.g., soil movement, seismic activity, additional loads) and propose effective safety solutions.
- Review and approve shop drawings submitted by contractors to ensure compliance with design documents.
- Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for proposed projects.
- Ensure all designs conform to relevant building codes and regulations.
