ABOUT THE INNOCENCE PROJECT
The Innocence Project is dedicated to exonerating the innocent, averting wrongful convictions, and fostering a justice system that is fair, compassionate, and equitable for all. Our mission is anchored in scientific evidence and a commitment to anti-racism. Since our establishment, we have utilized DNA and other scientific breakthroughs to overturn wrongful convictions, successfully liberating over 250 individuals who collectively endured more than 3,600 years in prison. Our advocacy has also driven the enactment of over 200 transformative laws at both state and federal levels. Today, the Innocence Project remains steadfast in its pursuit of freedom, systemic reform, and promoting the innocence movement. For further details, please visit www.innocenceproject.org.
